I love the idea of using reporting as a t...Gillian,<br />I love the idea of using reporting as a team activity - very clever. The nature of the "reporting" might be differently described - i.e. the synthesis of the discussion, decisions made, action plans. I imagine that you distinguish between typing up flipcharts (say, action plans) vs. synthesis of discussion that hasn't been captured. <br />In terms of synthesis, I think of this in 2 levels- the participant level and the facilitator. As the facilitator I'm sometimes asked to write up my impressions or synthesis of the group discussion, because I might see things about the system that they haven't seen, of I might have a different overall view of the work that they've done.
